As The Debate Painfully Drags On.....

Millions upon millions more innocent people fall victim to the whims of the all knowing, all forgiving self righteous practitioners of the various incarnations of the One on Earth. Take your pick, which genocide do you condone in the name of the flavor of the week or year or century. I have no doubt that there is something beyond my comprehension at play somehow in this Universe, but you will never convince me that the flavor of the day has a more intimate, enlightened knowledge of what that is than any other. To relentlessly kill and steal in the name of one against the other seems to me to be so far off the track of Truth as to make itself irrelevant. You lose by default. Your lack of respect for life itself, all life, relegates you to the deepest level of immorality.
How can any one of any cloth condone any of the senselessness going on in this world? The killing, the starvation, the relentless greed of the affluent, the total disregard and disdain of the less fortunate, regardless of the circumstances of that condition, is unacceptable and is beneath the capacity of a true Human Being. What on Earth have we become and why are we letting those in power take us to those depths? I don't know the answer but I do know that no one in power in recent times has represented Humanity with any dignity at all, NO ONE.
The relentless chase for the almighty dollar surely has shown itself to be the wrong path but we go merrily along stealing and cheating each other on the grandest of scales with the guilty parties whining for relief from their failed selfish exploits.
Look at the names of all the perpetrators of the financial scams of the last 25 years and you should not be suprised to see the same names over and over and over again, bankers all. When will we learn?
If you don't believe the names are the same, take a little GOOGLE journey down the financial fraud avenues. Check banking fraud including and especially the Federal Reserve and all other central banks that have ever existed. Lo and behold.

The Pot Calling The Kettle.....

In the continuing Bizarro World adventure, the aiders and abetters of the Wall St. Fraudsters reared their ugly heads again last week leaping out of their collective Gucci's in a lame attempt to blame the sub prime collapse on the victims rather than the multimillionaire manipulators who got their 10k Rolex's caught in the cookie jar. Sure, I understand that people who cannot afford mortgages should not be getting them, but come on, who got scammed, the uneducated mortgage applicant or the slick weasel who saw a way to give a mortgage to someone they should have known could not afford one. There is one professional in these equations and it is not the under-financed, no collateral buyer, it is the "I will stretch all the rules for a commission" Banker who had all the knowledge and wherewithal to write up the deal. They were not taken advantage of. There has been no charge of buyers lying to the bankers about their financial status. That is not in question. What is in question is, why would a knowledgeable professional approve a loan for a borderline, or worse, buyer? If they can't come up with a good answer for that question then they should not have their jobs, they are reckless and/or incompetent.

None of them deserve a bailout. The mortgage holder loses for trying to stretch beyond his means and the Banker loses for attempting a very risky mortgage. It is the Banker who has all the power so the failure is ultimately his sole responsibility. They should be allowed to fail. NO BAILOUT PERIOD.

Since when do the town criers of personal responsibility and free market start whining like babies for help when the wheels fall of their diamond studded wagons. Grow up, you tried a scam and you got caught by market conditions that were thundering on the horizon to be noticed. You are the Professionals and you missed the signals, you were asleep at the wheel and should suffer the consequences. Many other financial people saw the disaster looming and spoke often of it. While you were arrogantly sitting in your Ivory Towers counting your money people like Jim Rogers were shaking their heads waiting for the wake up call to slap you in the face. And it did.

What if Americans finally grew a pair......

Would we stop electing yes men for the special interests of the Corporate Pirates?
Would we finally turn off our television sets and start talking about the crooks that are running our governments?
Would we start reading and investigating for ourselves instead of taking the words of multi-millionaire shills for the special interests?
Would we finally learn the definitions of the various "isms" and stop quaking in fear whenever Socialism is mentioned?
We have always lived in a combination of many "isms" and it is only when one becomes overly dominant that our elected whores learn how to take advantage for their own interests and the interests of the more fortunate,ie,RICH.
Would we finally realize that the Federal Reserve is a PRIVATE bank, is not part of our government and that it makes money out of thin air, backed by nothing but smoke and mirrors, and then loans that money, our money, to our government, to be paid back at full face value plus interest?
We are paying a huge premium to foreign banks for our own money. We can't get much more ignorant than that, but we are trying.
Would we finally stop using religion to hate each other rather than to love each other?
Would we finally realize that kindness and charity to the less fortunate, a real Christian value, is not a hand out to the "lazy bastards"?
Would Jesus say, " I earned mine, go out and earn your own?" I don't think so.
Would he really preach to hate those that are different than ourselves?
Would he prevent those that are different from going to Heaven, whatever that is?
Would he really accept that we are using a version of a book to represent the word of God and himself that was written well after he walked the Earth and even then, the most favored version of the book was written by a British King who didn't like the Roman Pope?
How utterly foolish.
I know we can do better.
I hope we do real soon.

Who Are They F@#*#@* Kidding

It takes a real professional to dig a financial hole this massive. Years of studying the intricacies of creative financing. More years studying the tedious art of creative accounting ( how to hide massive sums off the books and offshore and also how to bundle all those massive bad decisions as a new form of sellable asset...derivatives, wink, wink ). More years studying how best to pay off the compliant press so they will not report on all our fabulous trickery. Of course, that part is easy, they would sell their own Mothers to be able to rub elbows with all us wonderful, honest, hard working white collar criminals, I mean CEOs. There is a sucker born every minute and we know that all those greedy little bastards in the money industry will die for a nicely packaged turd with a fancy name. Better still if we can get some genius to insure those turds with the largest turd insurer on the planet, we will be home free. And I wouldn't want to miss out on those invitation only Christmas dinners at 5***** Resorts with all the Hookers, I mean trimmings, where our tiny little bonuses are doled out by a caravan of armored vehicles. Who would want to miss those ski junkets to Aspen 2 or 3 times per winter where the plans for the next seasons heist, I mean agenda, are meticulously planned? Hey, I know, lets bring those CNBC whores, I mean experts, they will sell these turds to the public on their daily shows and we won't have to sully our lilly white hands. If we are really lucky, they will do such a good job that the financially ignorant, I mean naive, public will clamor to invest their hard earned money in one of our shiny turd Mutual Funds and we can kill millions of birds with 1 stone. Then after all of that, we can invent some honestly evil scheme to "lose" all the cash that we supposedly "invested" offshore somewhere and have the Federal Reserve (my brother......hood, you know what I mean, wink, wink) reimburse us for all that money that we "lost" "somewhere", I know it is around somewhere, I mean money doesn't just disappear...wink, wink. What a world. This could be fun, the whole world will be in turmoil and they will turn to us, the experts, to help them figure this mess out and we can tell them "yes, we can do it but it will cost you billions and billions and billions of dollars" because this will be a tough job and we could make some mistakes, wink, wink. And the best part is that we can tell them that the poor people who we tricked into taking mortgages that we knew they could not afford are the reason that this whole gigantic mess started. Hell, Limbaugh and all the Republican sycophants in Congress will climb all over themselves to be able to blame the poor, useless eaters for this disaster. We might even be able to lure some ex congressional criminals back onto the scene to blame the welfare class for this world wide financial typhoon. I mean, who would ever believe that well educated pure bloods like us could ever have devised this sort of devious plan to loot the entire planet, it had to have been the uneducated, naive, unclean masses who came up with this monstrous plan. We could even, if there is a God, get this to stick to Obama instead of the "Village Idiot", he did enough damage. Why, I bet they have been planning this, in secret, since the last time we screwed them, I mean the last depression, wink, wink. Yeah, that's the ticket, it should work, we are innocent I tell you, innocent.
